My Bio
Samantha earned her Master in Social work degree specializing in direct clinical practice from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. She has also earned a diploma from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute as a Hypnotherapist. Samantha has worked in the outpatient counseling field for over 10 years, and has previous experience working at inpatient facilities, psychiatric hospitals, private practice, and group homes.

Samantha has worked in various areas, and has found herself most passionate about helping young adults and adults dealing with depressive moods, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem and self-confidence, eating disorders, body image, self-harm, postpartum, and various life changes. Samantha takes a whole person approach meeting the client where they are at and utilizing strengths to create an individualized plan as everyone is unique. She is a very good listener, personable and compassionate, and creates and atmosphere for her clients to feel comfortable and understood. Samantha's style works with you to identify and achieve personal goals to improve your quality of life. She utilizes a solution focused style with a strong reference to the mind body connection through her focused treatment modalities.
